Acupuncture
Acupuncture is one of the oldest medical therapies in the world, and has been proven to be exceptionally safe and clinically effective.
Our highly trained registered acupuncturist and Eastern medicine practitioner uses a variety of classical and holistic techniques, including cupping, tui na massage and the use of thin, sterile disposable needles inserted superficially into specific areas of the body. The use of needles is optional and not required for an effective treatment.
Traditional Eastern Medicine begins with the understanding that human beings are inseparable from their physical and social environments. Acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, massage and herbs are all different tools with the same goal: to help your body and mind return to harmony. This is the basis of a long and healthy life.
Acupuncture and Eastern medicine use the body's natural ability to heal itself to treat many chronic and acute conditions. Ailments that have been proven to benefit from acupuncture treatment include: arthritic or common pain, injuries, digestive distress, insomnia, stress, depression, anxiety and more.
