Is pain preventing you from the life you want?

After being a Registered Massage Therapist for over 9 years, I have gained the knowledge and experience - both in practice and in my studies - to confirm that there is a symbiotic relationship between the body and spirit.

More than just mechanically focused, one of my personal vocations is holistic health. Among my passion for body work and massage is an interest in holistic nutrition, emotional somatic energy, and spirituality. I am deeply rooted in both eastern and western philosophies in health and treatment.

I am also greatly motivated by my connection with my clients and I feel a deep sense of service to the entirety of their being. Driven by scientific approach and eastern spiritual understanding, I will combine what I have learned and work with you to get you back to doing what you love.

My specialization is in treating chronic and acute low back pain occurring from misalignment of the pelvis and spine. In my clinical practice I utilize multiple modalities to treat conditions related to postural dysfunction that causes repetitive strain in the neck, lower back and hip. These modalities include: Active Release Therapy, Medical Acupuncture, Myofascial Release, ( a gentle postural exercises based on the methods of symmetry), and FST (Stretch to Win), which is an on table facial stretching technique that is highly effective for muscle tightness that stems from the joint capsule. I developed my interest in the fascial system, studying under Tom Meyers in a facial dissection lab in Arizona in 2013.

I am also passionate about equity in healthcare. As the co-founder of Open Dialogue Canada, a grassroots, not-for-profit organization for healthcare providers, I am committed to improving the quality of care experienced by Black, Indigenous, People of Colour (BIPOC). Our platform allows industry experts to educate healthcare providers to move the needle of equity forward, creating experiences free of racial discrimination within the healthcare system for BIPOC communities.

When I’m not working… I can be found running around with my daughter in the park, salsa dancing, preparing plant based meals, watching criterion films with my husband, and my favourite activity - pretending to gobble up those tiny feet!

Now, let’s talk about you and your needs.

If you’re ready to get back to doing what you love, I am here and ready to help.
