Dr. Liz Tarshis

Registered Psychologist

What’s blocking your way towards the life you want?

My goal is to help you recognize and build upon your strengths, enhance your coping skills, and develop the resiliency and confidence needed to improve the quality of your life. Together, we work to identify and eliminate the roadblocks that may be impeding your path to greater self-awareness and self-acceptance.

I always knew I wanted to work with people one on one to address mental health challenges. I was always curious about why we do things and how the mind works. After 25 years as a Registered Psychologist, who has worked with students, young adults, professionals and parents - across a wide spectrum of cultural, racial and religious backgrounds - I still enjoy the deep connections I get to make with others and the ability to help them on their personal journey.

I understand how important it is to build a trusting relationship with my clients, so I use a flexible style that is judgment-free and allows individuals to truly explore their feelings and experiences. I provide a safe and accepting environment where you can find the support you need for your mind, body and soul. I will work with you to and give you the space needed to develop new strategies for dealing with relationships, challenges and transitions.  Ultimately, it is about ensuring you have the tools and guidance you need to move towards achieving your personal goals.

Now, let’s talk about you and your needs.

If you are ready to start moving the obstacles that are getting in your way, I’m here to help.
