Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Are you living in a way which is deeply satisfying and truly expresses who you are?

Most of us yearn to find balance and meaning in our lives but may feel overwhelmed by experiences of trauma or the realities of modern life. My goal is to help you enhance your self-knowledge and navigate your life with a greater sense of connection and peace.

A wise therapist once told me that therapy is like two artists creating a mural together. The therapist and the client have numerous colours of paint and various types of brushes, tools, and other art supplies at their disposal. Together, they thoughtfully add shapes, textures, and colours - all the while checking in and sharing thoughts and feelings with each other…

Once they both believe the mural is ready, they stand back and appreciate its beauty. At the end of the day, it does not matter how objectively pleasing the artwork, or how skillfully the paint is applied. What matters is that the process and outcome build on and reflect the essence of the artist.

I truly believe that the answers to most of what challenges us can be found within ourselves. My role as a therapist is to create a warm, non-judgemental space from which to listen deeply and with compassion, bringing a gentle and genuine curiosity to your story. Whether you are facing a specific issue or stressor, recurring thoughts or behaviours that impact your wellbeing, or hoping to explore your career direction or personal relationships, I will work with you to discover the most authentic version of yourself.

My personal journey over the past decade has shown me the power of self-awareness and understanding as well as the “the curious paradox … that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change” (Carl R. Rogers).

I would be honoured to support you in your own journey.
