“The wound is the place where the light enters you.” – Rumi
We often come to therapy during times of rupture — grief, anxiety, cultural disconnection, or feeling overwhelmed by life’s demands. In those moments, we don’t need quick fixes. We need space. Space to slow down, be seen, and gently reconnect with our inner selves.
My approach to therapy is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and cultural attunement. I work from a client-centered lens, which means I believe you are the expert on your life. My role is to walk beside you — to witness, support, and gently guide. I view challenges not as problems to be solved, but as stories to be understood with depth and dignity.
As someone with lived experience supporting immigrant and refugee communities, I am especially attuned to the impact of intergenerational trauma, cultural identity, and systemic barriers on mental health. My work is informed by a deep respect for resilience — the kind that grows quietly in difficult conditions.
I draw from several therapeutic modalities including person-centered therapy, mindfulness-based practices, and cognitive-behavioral strategies. I aim to co-create a space that feels safe, affirming, and empowering — where healing doesn’t mean changing who you are, but coming home to yourself.
Let’s begin this journey together.
