To be understood is to be at peace.
There's a particular kind of relief that comes from sitting across from someone and thinking "they get it." No explaining yourself. No shrinking. No performing okay when you're not. That's what this is for. You can be complicated here. Contradictory. Unsure. You can say the thing you've never said out loud and not have it change how you're seen. Whatever brought you here, you don't have to make sense of it first. We can do that together.
I work with adults facing anxiety, relationship difficulties, grief, and life transitions. I take an eclectic approach, drawing from different methods depending on what fits you best. At times, we might gently notice patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, and explore new ways of responding. At other times, we may slow down and sit with deeper emotions, trying to understand what they might be asking for or needing. We might also look at how past experiences and relationships continue to shape how you see yourself and others today. Some clients need tools. Others need to be heard. Most need both, and we figure that out together.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before coming in. The thing you're carrying makes sense. Your exhaustion makes sense. This is a space where you can stop performing and just be honest. If something here feels right, trust that. I'd love to hear from you
